Saturday Session III
Agroecology blurs the distinction between agriculture and natural ecosystems, realizing that farming’s impact extends beyond the boundaries of the farm. We’ll discuss practical implementation and the economics of agroecosystems, earthworks and soil renovation techniques, water harvesting and drought-proofing methods, waste-stream control, integration of livestock, and how vegetables, herbs, fruits, nuts, and tree crops fit in an agroecosystem.
