Keyline Design, Agroforestry practices, Mob-stocked rotational grazing and Perennial Polycultures are practices that are integrated into a truly sustainable Restoration Agriculture Permaculture Farm, but none of these practices are at all useful if you’re using the wrong species in the wrong place. Knowing your biome and the plant communities that thrive there is the essential number one step for would be ecosystem farmers. In this workshop, participants will learn the most dominant plant communities of North America east of the Rocky Mountains from the Upper Midwest to the Maritimes of Northeastern US & Canada, through the Carolinas & Oklahoma and northwards to the boreal forests and prairies.
