Friday Session II

There is growing market interest in perennial, rotational, and variety-specific grains. Learn how to tap into that interest while diversifying your crop rotation. We’ll look at market potential, how to build out supply chains, and how to originate and bring new grain varieties to market. We’ll also explore demand trends to help you decide if and how you could produce for these markets.

Elizabeth Haucke is the president of Plovgh, Inc., an agricultural sourcing, logistics, and strategy group that coordinates specialty supply chains for small grains and other unique ingredients. She leads the operational elements of getting new agricultural products to market.

Brianna Fiene works in market management and business development at Plovgh, Inc., where she has found her passion for promoting sustainable livelihoods and good agricultural practices.
