The market for local flowers is blooming! Learn practical skills for planning and managing your organic flower farm. We’ll cover planning tools and methods, field set-up and planting successions, and touch on controlling weeds and pests. We’ll also cover the current state of the Midwest flower market and the many avenues to sell your beautiful flowers.

Jennifer Nelson and her husband own and operate Humble Pie Farm. They grow specialty cut flowers and produce for retail, restaurant, and wholesale markets in the Twin Cities. She manages New Organic Stewards, MOSES’ beginning farmer program.

Christine Hoffman is owner and designer at Foxglove, a flower studio committed to sourcing and using 100% local, chemical-free flowers and flora. She founded the Twin Cities Flower Exchange, a wholesale market for local and sustainable flowers and flora.
